Dr. Sran

Dr. Sran has earned his degree in veterinary medicine in 1991 and completed his ECFVG internship in 1995 at the University of Minnesota. After working with CFIA and as a locum veterinarian, Dr. Sran set up ALLWEST ANIMAL HOSPITAL in July of 1997 as a full-service companion animal hospital with a special interest in surgery and dentistry. In 2002 he completed an advanced course in dental restorations. He also completed intensive courses in advanced orthopedic surgery certified by Ohio State University/AO-ASIF which allowed him to perform all kinds of simple or complicated fracture repairs and corrective osteotomy like TPLO, TPO, & TTA. Dr. Sran is a member in good standing with the Veterinary Orthopedic Society which allows him to keep up to date with the latest techniques in orthopedics and traumatology. In June 2009 he had certification in Total Hip Replacement by Helica Hip System Ltd. He also does a wide range of soft tissue surgeries including advanced eye surgeries like corneal grafts.

He is a member of Canadian Veterinary Medical Association, British Columbia Veterinary Medical Association, Washington State Veterinary Medical Association and Veterinary Orthopedic Society of North America which allows him to keep up to date with the latest diagnosis and treatment techniques in companion animals.

He also completed a certificate in small animal ultrasound in 2007 and has been doing ultrasound exams in dogs and cats since then. Dr. Sran keeps himself updated by attending the continuing education programs so that he can deliver the best possible care available, to his patients and clients. He also gained advanced knowledge in animal psychology.

Dr. Sran lives with his family in East Abbotsford and spends his free time in charitable work, teaching/doing meditation, exploring spirituality, and traveling.
